How to Update Methods on your MBC QTII®

1. Updating methods on your MBC QTII® is accomplished by logging on to the Midland BioProducts Corporation® MBC QTII®    ‘Downloads’ area.

2.  Download method of choice (match lot number of new reagent to list of methods) from website to your computer.

3. The method is compressed using a zip program.  Unzip the contents of the downloaded file and locate the executable file *.EXE.

4. In your windows session CLOSE ALL running programs, before executing the *EXE file .

5. Setup your MBC QTII® for method upload by following the instructions in Chapter III of the MBC QTII® Instruction Manual. 

6. Upon execution of the *.EXE file a black DOS window will appear. It can be enlarged by holding down the ‘Alt’ key and pressing ‘Enter’.

7. Follow the instruction displayed on the screen.

8. When the upload is complete, the MBC QTII® will display “ALL DONE”. Exit the setup function of the MBC QTII® and *.EXE program. The MBC QTII® is ready to work with the new reagent.
